Celebrating Our Team and Supporting Teenage Cancer Trust!

At Borderbrite, we know our success is built on the dedication, energy, and commitment of our incredible team. Every summer is our busiest time of year, with the holiday season bringing a surge in demand for our services. Our staff go above and beyond to keep Borderbrite running smoothly – and we believe it’s important to say thank you in a meaningful way.
That’s why on Saturday 9th August 2025, owners Kym and Raymond hosted our annual Borderbrite Family Fun Day – a chance to celebrate our hardworking team and their families with a day full of food, fun, and sunshine.

Celebrating Our Staff with Food, Fun & Sunshine
Kym and Raymond pulled out all the stops. The day featured:
A sizzling BBQ with soft drinks and sweet treats
Silly Gilly of Party Fun dazzling children with colourful face painting
Inflatables galore from AR Bouncy Castles – Disco Dome, Giant Slide, Assault Course, Penalty Shoot Out, plus a toddler bouncy castle and ball pool
An ice cream van from Crookscreams & Cheesecakes, with every child given a Borderbrite token for a free cone

The atmosphere was brilliant – from bouncing and sliding to burgers and ice cream, there were smiles all round. It’s just one of the many perks of being part of the Borderbrite family, and a way for us to show genuine gratitude for the team’s hard work during peak season.

Supporting Teenage Cancer Trust in Their 35th Anniversary Year
This year, we also wanted to use the day to make a difference beyond our company. 2025 marks 35 years of the Teenage Cancer Trust, and we were proud to support their incredible work.
We held both a charity raffle and a drinks raffle, with prizes generously donated by local businesses: Casa Romana, Roll Toppers, Glow Tanning, Walby Farm Park, Game On, Contoured by Keylea, and Tropic (who gifted a beautiful skincare hamper), alongside our own Borderbrite cleaning hamper.
Thanks to the generosity of our staff, families, and community, we raised £397.00 – helping Teenage Cancer Trust continue their mission to ensure no young person faces cancer alone.

A Day That Truly Mattered
The Borderbrite Family Fun Day wasn’t just about inflatables, BBQs, and sunshine – it was about recognising the incredible people behind our success, and using our celebration to give back to a cause that changes lives.
We’re proud of our team, proud of our community, and proud to stand alongside Teenage Cancer Trust in their 35th year. Here’s to making memories, making a difference, and making every summer count.
