A Record-Breaking Hospice at Home Event – Carlisle Racecourse 2025

On 16th October 2025, Borderbrite was delighted to sponsor the Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland Charity Race Day at Carlisle Racecourse.

This annual event is a wonderful opportunity for us to support a cause close to our hearts — providing essential care to patients and families in their own homes. Hospice at Home’s mission to deliver compassionate end-of-life care in a familiar and loving environment continues to make a profound difference in our community.

A Day to Remember at Carlisle Racecourse…

The gates opened to welcome guests for a day full of excitement, connection, and giving. Attendees enjoyed thrilling races, a Three-Course Meal, Afternoon Tea, and a range of fundraising activities including a Charity Race Day Grand Raffle and Silent Auction.

As Hospice at Home said, “A heartfelt thank you to all the wonderful businesses and their guests who joined us for our 2025 Charity Race Day at Carlisle Racecourse. The day would not have been possible without the support of our wonderful volunteers and all the businesses who supported our raffle and auctions. And to everyone who stopped by to chat, donate, and join us on the day, a huge thank you! Your generosity and community spirit helped make the event such a special success. Together, you’ve made a real difference for patients and families across Carlisle & North Lakeland. We’re so grateful for your continued support — what a fabulous day it was!”

We are thrilled to share that this year’s event raised an incredible £23,000, a staggering contribution that will directly support the vital services Hospice at Home provides across Carlisle and North Lakeland.
